To note however that the +5 TP recieved normally will only occur if the Parry is executed while the invulnerability state is starting to wear off. Regarding the Parry itself, it's possible to potentially prolong the duration of the invulnerability nearly indefinitely during an attack as long the Player keeps pressing near attacks, as long as no parry misses are commited (if the Player tries to parry while NOT near a damaging attack). The small bullets fired by the Mini-Porky.The mini-Porky shooting at the SOUL (they will drop off the Bullet Board). The bombs dropped by the Porky's helicopters.Parrying can also cause certain projectiles to be removed entirely, which includes: After a succesful parry, the SOUL will gain about a second of invulnerability from any damage (and +5 TP), while by missing a Parry (caused by parrying while not close to a projectile) the SOUL will have to wait a short cooldown before it can Parry again. While the Cyan SOUL mode is active, the SOUL movement speed is greatly reduces (so much that holding down can't slow it down any further), but it gives access to the Parry mechanic by pressing when very close to a damaging projectile or attack. Parrying a bomb will simply make it dissapear instead. ![]() If the SOUL parries near an helicopter, it will make it explode into fireballs.Another version of this attack also includes the miniature Porky's army on the bottom of the Bullet Board.Several helicopters will appear and fly above the Bullet Board, each one starting dropping bombs which will release flameballs on impact. If the SOUL parries close to a mini-Porky, it will make it fall from the screen.Another version of this attack has the mini-army appearing both on the bottom and top walls of the Bullet Board.Several miniature versions of Porky will appear on the bottom part of the Bullet Board, then each one will fire a laser shot towards the SOUL.If the SOUL parries a leg, it will tropple it.The 4 mech's legs will appear from the horizontal and vertical walls of the Bullet Board (each one briefly telegraphed by a red line), thrusting in a forward motion into the opposite side, before retrating and initiating another attack. While it's possible to dodge those by simply moving in a precise way, Parrying is usually a superior (and easier) method. ![]()
